Happy Birthday Honey.
Addi and I love you so much. You are an amazing dad and I love the way Addi lights up when you walk into the room. She's as crazy about you as I am. I hope you had a wonderful day and I look forward to sharing many more birthdays with you.
I love you. YOU make our life wonderful.

Just Pictures....
This is Addi and Grandma Jackie at Hannah's when Canon was born.
While we were at Hannah's, Jackie Addi and I drove up to Grandma & Grandpa Jones' house in St. George to visit.
Addi and her Grandma's.
So, the eating thing wasn't going so good so while we were in Vegas, Aunt Hannah gave it a whirl. Addi is doing much better eating these days but I'm willing to bet Aunt Hannah was the one that made it happen. She's just better at the kid thing than I am.
We thought Addi might be teething so we were trying to give her anything to chew on. I bought some bitter biscuits and needless to say, she ate about a half of one and then her OCD mother decided the mess was too much and the biscuits have been shelved. Permanently.
Addi has taken up rolling and can roll like a maniac. She moves across the floor so fast we really can't take our eyes off of her. She is such a happy girl and is really enjoying her mobility. I'm not sure what we'll do once she's crawling. Mike doesn't think it's very far off at all.
In the way of a house update. It's coming along. The master bathroom should be done by this next weekend and it's our goal to be moved in by Thanksgiving. I'll post some house pics once we have "completed" rooms.

Bad, Bad Blogger......
I'm just not good at the blogging thing. I have a hundred other things to do and time seems to go so fast. I'll do my best to catch up.... It's gonna be a little long, so hang in there.
And finally.... my kids just cute. I love her so much. She has little dumbo ears, and a big round head but Mike and I think she is so cute. She makes us laugh every day. We're so lucky to have her in our family.

It's Finally Coming Together....
So again, there has been a delay in my posting. They finally put the cupboard doors on our cabinets and our kitchen is truly breath taking. The wood is gorgeous!!! Mike has ordered counter tops and then the kitchen will be finished. But that's only the kitchen. Mike has also been working hard on the front room and Addi's room. Both have been painted and now just need molding and final touches. Once those are done Mike is taking on the master bedroom and bathroom..... dum, dum, dum.... Another SERIOUS undertaking. Once that's done we can move in and finish everything else.
Here's a picture of how the master bathroom currently looks.... think Mike has a little work to do?
Things in the "world of Addi" are the same. She is growing so fast and is getting really funny. She is a busy, busy girl. I bought her a Bumbo the other day and attempted to have her sit in it. She still is a little top heavy (she still has a hard time holding her big noggin up) and so she's not really stable in it yet. I also bought her the most fabulous new hat. I know it's summer, but I'm hoping it will still fit come Fall. Thanks Aunt Hannah for the great beanie idea.....

More House....
So our cabinets aren't all the way in. We have the nicest guy doing them for us but he forgot to order the doors and so it's still a work in progress. We did get some of our new appliances delivered. You'll see the new fridge in the below pictures. We also have had a new dishwasher, and washer and dryer delivered. So here's the latest pictures.....

Busy! Busy!
So again too much time has gone by since my last post. We've been busy working on our house and slowly but surely it's coming together. Mike has been working at the house every night and sometimes doesn't get home until after midnight. I appreciate the time he puts in there, especially after a full day at work.
This is Mike just starting to lay the actual tile. It's amazing all the prep work that happens BEFORE you even get to start the tile. He has done this all on his own and the finished product is amazing. Tonight he is putting the grout between the tiles and tomorrow our cabinets get installed. I'll post a picture of our almost finished beautiful kitchen tomorrow after the cabinets are in. I can't believe how big it looks compared to what it was.
My little Addi is growing so quickly. She's four months old tomorrow and I can't imagine what life was like before her. She has really turned into a happy baby, and only seems to fuss when she's hungry or tired. Working from home has been interesting with a baby but I appreciate the time with her. Grandma Humble is doing a great job with Addi on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and although I appreciate my time with my girl, I appreciate my time away.
Here are some recent pics of Addi. I can't believe how much she looks like her cousin Gavin when he was a baby!!! I might be the only one who thinks so, but I totally think they look like each other.

Catching Up.....
Today I start my third week back to work since Addi was born. The last two weeks have been very busy. We're remodeling Mikes house so that we can move from my townhouse to his house and Mike has been very busy trying to get things moving so we can get in there. Up until about a week or two ago, the kitchen looked like this: There is now sheet-rock on the wall to the right and Mike is going to paint this week so we can get our floor and cabinets in. Mike was in NY all last week and with him working on the house after work, it's been hard cause Addi and I both miss him at home.
Addi has been going to Grandma Humbles on Tuesdays and Wednesdays while I go to work. She's such a funny girl. I drop her off at Grandma's around 730am, and she is so happy.... until she sees Grandma, then, she cries. It makes a mom feel good to know that their baby is crying because they are leaving. I KNOW it's not because Grandma Humble is scary. Grandma is really a lifesaver because I NEED those days at work. But at the end of the day, I'm excited to pick up my girl. As much of a monster that she is, her smile and big blue eyes makes my every day.
